Three-quarters of respondents said that online dating was the easiest way for single parents to meet others. Two-thirds said that online dating was a safer way to date.

Two-thirds also regarded screening for criminals and married people to be very important. Another 26% thought that such policies were convenient, but not important.

Asked if online dating helped balance time between work, dating and family, 37% said yes.

More than half of single fathers said they went out on traditional dates less than once a month.

It's not surprising that single fathers place such a high value on time and safety. Online dating allows singles to learn about a potential partner before ever meeting them in person."
