| 64% of Americans spend more time with their computer than their spouse - 10.9.2007 [more] 64% of Americans say they spend more time with their computer than with their significant other. Meanwhile, 84% said they were more dependent on their computer than they were three years ago. When confronted with a dead computer, 19% admitted to wanting to hurl it out the nearest window, 9% felt stranded and alone, 11% used language normally reserved for special occasions, 7% did so loudly, 3% did so tearfully and 3% additionally vented their wrath on inanimate objects. |
