6% of 2006 sales were online sales [more] Online sales in 2006 rose 29% to about $146.4 bln, excluding travel, representing 6% of overall retail sales in 2006, Forrester Research says. Total online sales in 2007 (travel included) are expected to increase 18% to $259.1 bln in 2007.
