536M broadband users worldwide by 2011 - 8.13.2007 [more] Worldwide broadband subscriptions will exceed 536 mln by 2011, with DSL representing over half of the market. Fiber (FTTx) and WiMax will be among the fastest growing access technologies in the next 5 years, according to Strategy Analytics. Broadband Service revenues will surpass $150 bln in 2011, with Europe, Asia Pacific and North America leading the way. This represents a 13% CAGR (2007-2011). Broadband ARPUs will remain stable on a worldwide level.
